Tutor - During the Day

(Casual Employment)



Program: Literacy - Kindergarten to Grade 6


Time: 9:30 am until 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday (Specific working hours TBD with school; Flexible) 


Rate of pay: $25.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay


Nature of position: Casual

The OCDSB Tutor will support students to develop skills and close learning gaps in either Math or Literacy (program specified above). 


During the Day Tutors: 


All tutors will attend a mandatory paid virtual orientation and training sessions (date to be determined).


All tutors must obtain a Police Check for the vulnerable sector, valid within 6 months.

DATES: The OCDSB Tutor program is currently scheduled to continue until  March 31, 2023.


Please note all programs are contingent upon student enrollment. Therefore, staffing, hours assigned, sites and proposed dates may change or be canceled on short notice based on student enrollment and operational requirements.
